At Istanbull Katz, caring for cats in need is an integral part of who we are. Alongside our work in our wine and tapas house, we actively support trusted rescue organisations in Turkey that provide care, shelter, and long-term support for cats.
Who We Work With
We currently work with Kurtaran Ev Animal Shelter, a well-established and reliable animal shelter based in Istanbul. Kurtaran Ev is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals, and is widely respected for its transparent approach, hands-on care, and long-standing commitment to animal welfare.
Through this partnership, we ensure that the support generated through Istanbul Katz reaches cats who genuinely need medical treatment, ongoing care, and a safe place to recover and thrive.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps improve the lives of cats waiting for safety, care, and a second chance.
We also greatly appreciate donations of cat food, toys, and other essentials to help care for our resident cats. Every little contribution means a lot to us!
Transparency & Updates
We believe transparency is essential to everything we do.
All voluntary contributions made through Istanbul Katz are passed on in full to support animal welfare initiatives in Turkey. We share regular updates through our Instagram page, allowing our community to see how support is being used and the animals being helped. Clear records of all contributions and transfers are maintained, and we are always open to questions from those who wish to learn more about our process. If you’d like to follow our journey and see the impact of your support, you can follow our voluntary updates here:
